Lawrence of Arabia

An Original 27 X 41 Roadshow Style A One Sheet poster from the 1962 epic action/adventure, drama film “Lawrence of Arabia” directed by David Lean and starring Peter O’Toole, Alec Guinness and Anthony Quinn.  The film is based on the written memoirs of British archaeologist and military officer T.E. Lawrence and his personal experiences while stationed in the Arabian Peninsula during World War I.  The film is known for its breathtaking cinematography by Freddie Young and was one of the last great films to be shot entirely in 70 mm.  “Lawrence of Arabia” was nominated for ten Academy Awards in 1962 and won seven including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Cinematography.  Offered here is the ultra-desirable, Pre-Academy Awards Style A One Sheet poster, folded and completely unrestored in Near Mint condition.   The colors and registration on this example are mind blowing!  Folded.  Near Mint.
